I think if a player is playing well, then norms
and titles will come. Of course, this second GM norm is important for
me, and I am very happy.

You
were a player of attractive style. Even nowadays in analyses you seem to
suggest moves which others don't see. Many people respect you for
this.

I disagree with
that. Everyone has their own moments of brilliance. Even a chess player
who is not very strong can come up with new clever ideas. The main thing
is whether he can use that moment of brilliance to achieve a good
outcome that matches his clever idea. When I was learning chess, I did
not have any computers to help me with their suggestions. I was trying
to discover the secrets of chess with all my heart and abilities. It is
different when you see an image on the screen and memorize it, or when
you reach that image by logic and reasoning. Just like when you play the

understanding and good techniques. Is it just a coincidence, or you enjoy
playing endgames?
